Winners of the 2018 Members Exhibition

What a great Exhibition we had this year, over 120 quilts and challenge pieces. If you were able to visit you will know that it did not disappoint: loads of colour and variety of techniques and the sheer skill of the members.

Canberra Sewing and Brother's First Prize in the Viewers' Choice 

This went to a very traditional quilt by Dacia Wells, "Lucy Boston's Patchwork of the Crosses". She won the Brother Innov-is F410 computerised sewing machine. Well done Dacia, the quilt is certainly beautiful, enhanced by professional quilter Kay White.

The Spotlight Excellence in Quilting Award

On the first occasion of its award, this went to Sue Davis for her modern quilt "Exotic Feathers". She won the Singer 7469Q Confidence Quilter Machine. A great job by Sue and  professional quilter Kay White.

The Chiatanya Embellishment Award

This was awarded to Sandra Still for her lovely "Inspirations Through My Window", made following the required colours and techniques etc of the club's 2017 monthly inpirations and closely quilted by her to echo the different elements.
