Beneath the Southern Sky Exhibition in Queanbeyan

A number of QQ members attended the opening of the Beneath the Southern Sky exhibition at The Q Exhibition Space in Queanbeyan on Tuesday evening.

This is the perfect textile art exhibition for the white walls at the 'Q' gallery and must not be missed.

The Q Exhibition Space 4 - 19 December 2012

253 Crawford Street, Queanbeyan, NSW
Opening Hours:  Monday - Friday 10.00 am - 4.00 pm, Saturday 10.00 am - 3.00 pm, Closed Sundays

Beneath the Southern Sky is a travelling exhibition of thirty textile works exploring the title theme in a striking 100 x 40cm banner format.  From exotic flowers to a sombre silhouette of an ANZAC soldier, the fusion of sky, land, sea and ice in Antarctica, to a Kiwi contemplating the cosmos of the Milky Way - each work conveys a sense of place and tells a story in stitch and cloth.
